    Responsibilities include but not limited to:
    • Build and maintain syngeneic, xenograft, PDX and orthotopic mouse tumor models
    • Perform mouse in vivo animal procedures, including dosing animals by various routes (e.g. intravenous, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous and intratumoral), blood collection and measuring tumors by calipers
    • Mouse necropsy and tissue sampling
    • Blood and tissue processing and flow cytometry
    • Cell culture and maintenance
    • Data recording, data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
    • Contribute to overall vivarium organization and IACUC protocol

    Job Description:
    The Research Technician/Associate, In vivo immunopharmacology will work closely with project scientists to design and execute immune-oncology related mouse studies to evaluate novel cancer therapies. Must be able to work in a team environment and contribute to other studies. Must be able to understand and follow the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) guidelines and policies. Individual must understand and follow the local, state, federal regulations and guidelines. Other tasks include, but are not limited to: cell culture, PCR, and flow cytometry. The Research Technician/Associate will assist in preparing technical reports and presentations to illustrate and explain experiments, data, and conclusions.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    - B.S./M.S. in Biological Sciences or a related scientific discipline
    - Experience with animal handling, sampling, and dosing required
    - Proficiency with standard software and statistical analysis is preferred (e.g. Microsoft Office, Graph Pad Prism)
    - The position requires a highly self-motivated individual, with outstanding organizational skills, the ability to effectively present results and conclusions to co-workers, collaborators and manager; ability to work well under pressure and drive personal and team objectives
